The day has arrived ladies and gentlemen!!

All those of you who have been with me since the beginning of my blog know that I’ve been fretting all these days about a thing called Semester exams.

Well the time has come people. Exams starting from tomorrow with a subject called Numerical Methods. Its like a more messed up version of Maths.

But I’m facing 6 problems:

1) I don’t know anything.

2) Things I know I’ve forgotten.

3) I couldn’t study anything for 2 months as I was uselessly sick.

4) If I had known that I’m gonna be sick then maybe instead of goofing around in the first semester month, I would have studied a bit seriously.

5) Only 2 boys around me in exam hall. Even before I can ask them anything, they start asking me.

6) Stuck up professors. Takes away your copy even if you look at the ceiling.

But the only reason I woke up this morning is to have Biriyani.
Its is the most unhealthiest delicious food and the fastest way to get cholesterol.
But I anyways want it. Have been begging for it for such a long time.

My reports came in. My platelet count is again a bit low than normal. Doc says its coz I’m not sleeping and eating properly.
I’m too stressed to eat and have to put up all nighters these days to make up for the lost time.

But as they say, sleep is for the weak!!

In the initial days of college most of the girls in class started dating our seniors.

It was quite surprising since they were not even attracted to those guys. And already had a bf at home. I mean we really don’t have any hot guy in college.
Shocking coz in Engineering colleges most of the students are boys. You hardly find girls.

Its so bad in core depts. that the guys get ecstatic even if they are assigned an young lady professor. 😉

Anyways then someone told me that the only reason to date seniors is that they help you study. Free notes, free tips. Sometimes they even leave their own studies to help you study.

And after four years everyone gets jobs in different cities, pretend to be in love for a few months and then start dating their new colleagues.

Smart. Very smart.

So dear god please help me pass this semester. I don’t have any senior Romeo teaching me for free.

If possible please send the hottest Superman and make him break into the college vault to get hold of tomorrow’s question papers.

And if that’s too much against your morals, then just send him to my terrace to take me for a ride over the city…..I need some fresh air.

And maybe later help me solve some of the questions I’m stuck at.

Come on god. I should definitely get some karma points for ‘not taking advantage‘ of those innocently innocent senior boys 😉 😉

Anyways I’m listening to ‘Die in your arms‘ by Justin Bieber. I actually like his songs. Got a nice tune to them.

Other than that I like,

Kesha, love her voice
Shakira, just love her!!!!!!
Rabiosa!! I even love Pitbull after that.
I also love listening to Enigma!!

How can I forget, the Godfather song. Speak softly Love by Andy Williams. Omgggg the voice uffff!!!!

These are some of the songs that relax me the most during those exam midnights.

    dont look at the people around you for they may also be not knowing the answer;)
    Remember you are the author when u write exams, so carefully craft your story 😉

  4. You will need to wear sunglasses during the exam. Otherwise Superman, not recognize you and not help you. I warn you that Superman is not very good at math. It may not be able to help, but surely you will have a hot guy in college. Take care, competition for hem, will be strong! You will pass both exam, only if you have a smile on your face!

    1. That is such a valid point!! Exactly…..Superman never really had to learn maths…. 😉 lol
      And I really tried wearing sunglass to class but the examiner thought I had conjunctivitis, maybe that’s why Superman couldn’t find me 😉 haha

      2. We have had 2 maths exams by now 😉 yeah they actually went well. I was really worried that since I couldn’t study anything for 2 months, I might lose my class rank.
        Its crazy competition in Engineering colleges. And among rank holders. These people start studying with even more enthusiasm if they see that someone else can’t study. Rat race all time. I probably won’t be in the top 3 this year ( some people are very happy about that ;)) but lets hope I’ll atleast get to secure a decent rank.

      3. My profession is instalation engineer for civil construction. I went through these issues myself. Student years were very nice, but exams were awful. I would not want to relive those moments. But these exams will pass and you can go back to lipsticks, sunglasses and…wonderful boys! 😀 In this, you will be surely in top 3
        P.S. What is your city? I want to visit it with Google Earth?

      4. I live in the Capital 😉 I’m sure Google earth through your country will be beautiful. I used to read a lot of vampire stories as a kid and most of them were set in Eastern European countries…… and I used to find them very historical with a medieval feel. Generally Romania Bulgaria Belarus Poland Czech Republic and also a bit of Russia falls in that part as far as I know. Please pardon my Geography knowledge if I’m getting it wrong. Very beautiful places. In which country do you live?

      5. I’m from Romania! Country of “Dracula”! His tomb is only to 4 kilometers from my house. You can see it on my blog at “File 37 – Tomb Of Dracula”. Probably you know that Bram Stoker, author of “Dracula”, written in 1897, was inspired by Vlad Tepes Wallachian (romanian province) King, who is a real historical character. In reality Vlad Tepes was a brilliant military leader, who used in battles with the Ottoman Empire, psychological intimidation tactics by beheading and torturing prisoners.         Yeah I knew Bram Stroker’s Dracula is based on a king of Romania….
        But thank you for sharing the history with me 🙂 I’m very fond of history. Any historical event, it greatly amazes me. Vlad Tepes is a national hero. And a very significant and powerful character in History. Living so close to such a tourist spot must be very thrilling 🙂

      5. We have 13 subs including labs 8 theory and 5 labs for first year… So it takes atleast a month to complete😴😴😴. So you are a lucky big girl…

      6. Oh yeah in 1st year you have to read too many useless stuffs!! I remember now………luckily every sem our labs end a week before the actual sem starts. 🙂 Don’t worry too much about the labs…..its the theory papers u gotta concentrate on 🙂

  15. Hey quick suggestion go on with the days… We have been in the college for an year and leave all that stuff what happened in the past. Only the days before exam matters😜😜 HOPE FOR THE BEST AND PLAN FOR THE WORST…
    As on now I am in the same situation lol. Done with two exams 💪💪

    Engineering huh. Got a solution for your exam problem. May not fly with engineers being a strange lot but here goes.

    I started out my adult working life in a trade, Sheet Metal. Did mostly commercial and industrial air systems. Renovation, not the boring new stuff. I am a Smithy!

    One of the first things a Senior Mechanic taught me is this, “Never let an Engineer near the tools”. Now in an exam your pen and pencil are tools. Follow my logic here?

    If that doesn’t work try this. This may scare them in to just giving up a passing grade.

      Exams got over yesterday!! Thank you for your encouraging tips. A beautiful and unique poem you got over there (y) 😀 Too good!! 🙂
      And I do agree that even though Engineering is all about practicals but you leave a mechanical engineer in a thermal plant and they are gonna get pretty confused what to do with the machines 😉
      They are good with pen and pencils designing stuffs and getting all the physics laws right 😉
      Good thing I’m an IT engineer.
      Type my way through the day 😀 😀
      (Other than some pretty boring electrical labs!!!!ughh)
      But we actually had mechanical workshop in our 1st year and so I’m kinda familiar with all the cutting shaping milling grinding and my fav, welding!! 😉 😀
      And if you don’t mind me bragging a bit, I had also topped in them 😉 😉
      Some of the coolest things I’ve ever done!!
      And it completely true that setting up new stuffs is easy. Renovation is the real deal. I’m sure you are pretty good at what you do 🙂
      My mechanical engineer friends are gonna have a hard time at the factories haha 🙂 You guys should give out lab sessions to the colleges. Its actually gonna make a big difference for the students 🙂

        I liked welding too. Considered welding as an artistic outlet? There is some pretty funky heavy metal out there in the art world.

        I am very good at what I do. I’m a Chaotician and not one of those dry mathematical ones. 😉

      Anyways life gets too complicated if you gotta depend on seniors to pass.
