Kings and Queens

We recently attended a boring seminar only for the sake of a laminated certificate and free food packets. :p

So while we were at the lab changing screen savers in the computers and discussing that if we mess up the exams, how our honeymoon’ll shift from Switzerland to just the terrace, watching the moon and drinking honey……one of my friends saved me with a phone call.

‘Come quickly!! They are distributing free charcoal face wash samples for all the girls in the old building.‘ A brand had come to our college for promotion.

So the next time professor left lab to bring coffee, all of us girls rushed to the old building for our free samples. A deo brand had also come. Apparently after applying that boys will come after us singing and dancing 😉

In the mean time one of the guys called and said, ‘Sir’s asking where have all the girls vanished!!‘ Reluctantly we returned back. But once you get a taste of free things, you want more 😉

We told the boys, ‘Yaar pls go and get some more samples!! Tell them you want it for your girlfriends!!‘

And then they gave a very senti face, ‘Why are you sprinkling salt on our wounds yaar!! Even they know engineers don’t have girlfriends.‘

The next time prof. again left the lab these boys gallantly marched to get us free face wash samples. But the company had refused. And the boys created quite a bawal, ‘Our college, our rules. Give us free samples or get out!!’ :p

And when prof. returned he was quite surprised, ‘Where are all the boys now?? Everyone had to go to the toilet at the same time??’ 😉

In the end all the girls got 2 free face wash. Couple of samples were still remaining. We gave 2 of them to professor for his wife. He was only too happy to accept them. And the rest, some of the boys took home for future girlfriends…….hope they find one before the expiry date :p

Its evident that I can’t stay away from the blog. I’ve probably said 5 times before this that my next post’ll be after Christmas :p :p

But I’m really waiting for 2 things!!

First, for my exams to get over.

And this.

Bajirao Mastani.

Its a historical movie. Based on the lives of Baji Rao Ballal Balaji Bhat (Say that 4 times real fast 😉 ) and his second wife, Mastani.

Bajirao was the General and the Prime Minister of Maratha Empire, taking the kingdom to undefeatable heights. One of the greatest and skilled warriors with the sharpest mind.

Mastani was probably a princess, as well as a beautiful court dancer. Herself very skilled in swordsmanship, spear throwing and horse riding, she in a way was the brain behind Bajirao and accompanied him on his battles.

Now what’s beautiful about their story is its a package.

Grandiose palaces, golden pillars, marching troops, magnanimous battles, nefarious conspiracy and a constant tension and war for kingdom and life…….but still the strongest love story amidst midnight burning lamp, hide and seek behind the lace curtains, soft whispering through the sand stone walls and just gusty impulsive love.

I guess everyone loves historical love stories. As they have the right dose of everything, love, passion, war and grandeur. The rustic charm of old world never fails to engage us in our wildest fantasies.

So yeah that’s the movie I’m patiently waiting for. Christmas just looks so fun 😉 Friends, movie, gossip, hangouts and just a whole lot of fun 😉

Like OMG absolutely love the trailer!! Almost gives you goosebumps. So well presented, almost churning out a dream of uniquely blended seduction and poetry with the trans of ancient purity and sublimity.

Almost makes me want to go back in time to experience how cool life was back then. People are definitely lucky today to live a comfortable and safe life, but they are missing out on all the adventure and bravery.

BTW eagerly waiting for 2016!! 

Gonna be watching every movie that releases after exam. Coz things are gonna get tougher from now on preparing for job interviews. So hopefully this vacation is gonna be one of a kind.

We were even planning doing our version of ‘Eat Pray Love’. Like visit all the best restaurants in the city to ‘Eat’. Visit all the religious centres to ‘Pray’ and for ‘Love’…..well shopping!!!! 😉 Lets see how far that goes 😉
