A lush green valley. Spreading for miles. Covered with juicy opulent grass bringing coolness to heart and to the eyes. The blue sky extending over the horizon with fluffy clouds floating around with mirth and merryness. Yellow tulips nodding frivolously with the gale bringing down whiff of freshness and sanguinity of soul. Amidst the coolness and calmness is a small glass house. With fresh flowers in the vase, a rack of books hanging on the wall and soft cushiony divan with bright yellow covers to spread out the books.
Few feet away from the house is a small pond. Not too deep. Definitely no fishes or insects. Eww!!
Just cool placid crystal water. To just float through and look at the sky taking in the calmness and the beauty of my inner sanctum.
My very own oasis.
I call this my oasis because whenever I fell stressed about studies or just running against time, I try to imagine this particular scene.
Imagine myself wandering through someplace like this and swimming in clear cool water. And it immediately soothes me up.
As you guys all know I’m just preparing for the never ending exams. Its sooo boring!! And who feels like studying in this scorching weather!!
Lemme share some before/after pics of how hot it exactly has been.
And now they look like this.
Our gardener is trying his best to keep them alive. Giving all sorts of manures and sprays.
And we also give them water every night. But even in this condition they look artistically beautiful.
This particular shade of red rose is enthrallingly beautiful!! I wanted a black rose. But they are difficult to find. Instead our gardener brought this. Its deep red with blue undertones. And today I saw small rose buds beside the dried ones.
Its really tough to go out on the streets. Its so scorching and dry. The heat along with the arid air sends a shiver down the body. Almost every person you see on the streets is covered all over with a scarf and sunglass.
Sometimes you can see the mirage on the streets. This is also a great time to wear sunglasses. Some of you might know my love for them 😉
This is my fav sunglass of them all. Mom gifted it to me after I cracked engineering. Its the one I wear most often.
Btw something really weird happened with this pic. After a long time I had logged into fb to see what’s everyone doing. And also posted this pic.
Next morning I found our school PRINCIPAL liking it.
In our school days we used to call her Hitler.
If she ever saw any guy with spiked hair she would literally chop off his spikes with a scissor.
If any guy wore low waist trousers she would go up from behind and pull it UP.
If any girl wore makeup, she would make her wash her face.
And then today she liking my pic…..it was epic lol 😉 I even sent a screen shot to my friends and they were equally shocked.
I never really had a run in with her. This one time she saw me dance as ‘Mother India’ in a school function and since then has been comparatively warmer towards me.
In fact I really don’t know why she’s so specific about looks. She’s one of the most makeup loving ladies I’ve ever seen. Never repeats a dress. Always the deepest lipstick and eyeliner. And hair always set in perfect curls.
Anyways, tomorrow is Mother’s day. I’ve a gift in mind. But it’s gonna take me a few days time to get it in hand.
But the thing that’s getting me most excited this year is that I’m gonna get her the gift with my own money.
Mom really likes Hugo Boss perfumes. No matter how much I tell her she never buys anything else. But this year I plan to gift her a Chanel 5!! 😉 😉
The most famous perfume in the whole world. I think other than its smell, its history and ‘vintage-ness’ is too dam high.
Its also mom’s b’day month.
I think the best moment in a child’s life is when they can buy gifts for their parents!!
I really hope I can come up with some zabardaast plans and arrangements.
Wishing all of you lots of smiles and happiness!! 😀 😀
