  1. Well Congrats on your degree and vongrats on your business decision.

If i might be bold and suggest if you just work a year or two employed and do your business on the side and then go full time. When you ate employed you will learn bith techinical and doft skills, you will face challenges , and have training opportines payed for. You will build up some money and grow so much and then you can put more into your business in a years time .. when we are young we think we know so much.. then we get older and think and cringe ahhh why did i do that..

But who am i to be so bold to comment.. but i do dare just incase you find some reason to it…or simply ignore it..

As long as you have nit rushed tge decision and a you can think is your business. I think having your own business is hard and sleeping in cant happen… another reason one years of work will give contacts and good habits…

    Sorry for commenting

    1. Hi Bella, I hope you are having a very exciting time!
Thank you for commenting and pls don’t be sorry, its wonderful to have such caring friends like you❤❤

Being a software engineer myself, I know very closely the life in the IT sector and the maximum returns possible from it.
And its truly a great life. But I wanted more.

So my dear friend I understand your concern but I assure you, that considering all the factors, doing my homework and then setting the base strongly for quite sometime, I took this decision.

Its actually not that uncommon. Majority of the new ventures that are coming up every year, are from people in early 20’s.

And yess I’m very happy that I don’t have to wake up at 6 or even 7.😊😊 My day starts at 9 and work starts at 9:30. The hurry to reach office by 9 would have been too rushful.

I’m from a business family for generations. So I’m not much familiar with the hard core clock dictated office life…..timings in our family has always been quite flexible.

This is what I’ve been seeing from a very early age. This is all I know how to do. So what might look as a risky decision to other people, is just another day at our everday life and work. 😀😀
This is what we do. And this is how we do.😄😄

I hope you are not too worried love, I got it covered!🌼🌼

      Take care!
      XOXO

      1. Yeah that’s true. But I think if its supposed to happen, it soon happen soon enough…..ofcourse, only if its SUPPOSED to happen and not TRYING TO make it happen. A lot of people date and date for 7-8 yearsss and nothing happens…..it might feel too bad after that.

      2. Yeah, the ones who lose the spark half way through but don’t want to be the one to end it, even though there’s nothing to recover.

Ironically enough, my marriage lasted only two years because after the first things simply went downhill, then I found my LDR here on WP and we’re two years strong. Funny how that goes huh!

      3. Yes I saw her and she is wonderful!! You guys look to be in perfect sync☺☺ I was reading an article about how LDRs can be the most beautiful thing and once done properly, its gives the most loving and fulfilling relationships 😃😃
All my best wishes to both of you, looking ahead to more pictures of you guys together 💐💐

      4. Thank you so much! in my thoughts LDR is the most dedicated kind of relationship, two people trying their best to make it work despite all the odds, Not flattering myself but it’s what we build on 🙂

  3. Hello Mithai! I’m so proud of you! It’s great that you know what you need to be happy, and that you’re actually pursuing it! So many people just choose the “safe” option, and then get stuck in dead-ends later on. I really hope everything works out for you.

Also, based on what you said about curfews, I think we’d make great roommates!

The craziest thing I ever did was probably decide to go to Belize at the last minute, without many definitive plans. Leaving the grad program I was in a few years ago was also pretty risky.

    1. Thanks a lot for your support Josh. This is something I want to do since I was a kid. If I had taken up a job that would have been rather surprising lol.
Your Belize account was incredible. I couldn’t stop reading.
If there’s anything else I wanted to be other than having my own venture, its being an archeologist.
I too am so proud of you that you took up this journey and got yourself such an enriching experience. We too felt that we are partaking the journey with you.
Its gonna make up one amazing theseis paper and what I appreciated most was your devotion to your dreams.
Wishing you all the best for future projects!☺☺

    1. I’ve been trying to be an early bird since my school days. But I’m more like the night owl! In school and college, all my favourite time to study would be all night till 4 or 5am and wake up at 9 and reach wherever I needed to be by 10 lol.
Even though these days I’m trying to change my routine but still my day starts at 9 and work starts at 9:30……its a big relief I don’t need to reach office by 9, that would have been a tough job. I guess these are few advantages you get when you are having your own venture.

  4. Congratulations! Proud of You!! I Love to see Women moving forward with their lives. I guess the craziest thing I ever did was join the U.S. Army when I was 18 years old! It was tough on mind and body but probably one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. Gave me extra discipline. I served in the military for four years.

BTW I have seen many African-American Ladies (YouTube Bloggers/Vloggers) trying various Indian hair products. So last month I ordered online Vatika and Mahabhringaraj hair oils and conditioners. (Please excuse my spelling) New York has many people of Indian descent from India, Guyana and Trinidad/Tobago who have excellent stores which sell tons of Indian products. When I was younger my hair was down to my butt! I could sit on my hair. Menopause has taken a toll on my hair but Coconut Oil helped a lot. Many Black Women speak highly of Amla, & Shikakai. Great stuff!!

    1. Military at just 18, wow!! That’s tremendous strength and mental power. Generally 18 year old kids just want to have fun, what made you take that decision??
Indian oils are actually effective. My mom applies those oils, she has Rupanzel hair.
I don’t apply those though but now that I have some free time, I am also thinking of oiling my hair twice a week. Amla and shikakai are also very effective!☺☺
One of my clients is an African American lady and she is a great entrepreneur. Another client is an African Irish lady who too is doing extremely well with her business.
The thing that is common among both of them is encouragement of women power. They are extremely encouraging and strong about their goals. One of their whatsapp status has stayed with me, ‘ I’m a strong woman. So are you’. Its amazing.
When I was taking the decision whether to take the job or not, the African Irish lady had just become my client. We got to talking and I told her about my situation and she was EXTREMELY encouraging about my decision. She said she would even want her kids to have their own business once they grow up.
That did in some way made the decision easier.
I can feel you resonating their boldness about women empowerment and I truly am gracious for that.
Only women can help other women develop ☺☺

      1. Reminds me of this one incident.
4 years ago, right after I had finished school and was also over with my engineering entrance exams……..I had gone some place with my mom. My school bag was also with me. We stopped to buy some snack, Vada Pav a famous Indian street food classic. We could see A LOT of boys of my age standing near by with their mothers. Some of them had question papers in their hands so I concluded they were probably here for some exam nearby.

But EVERYONE was staring at my mom and me. The mothers, their sons….. everyone!!

My mom was like, what are they staring at??
Anyways, soon we fiun out it was some military admission test.

And I was the only girl there. And thus the mothers and the sons were just surprised……specially since I too was carrying a school bag with me! Lol

My dad has a lot of friends in the defense sector and they regularly visit our house. Some of their wives are also soldiers and they love a very yummy mango juice my mom prepares for them!

Huge respect to you that you took up that path, one of the hardest paths to take by choice.

      2. Even in America Women Veterans are looked at oddly sometimes. One day several years ago I was in church and that particular Sunday Veterans Day a holiday that honors living Veterans the Pastor asked all the Veterans in the Congregation to stand so naturally I stood up. I’m telling you the Pastor looked like he was in shock even though Women have served in the Armed Forces either officially and unofficially since the American Revolution. His look of surprise puzzled me but I just laughed it off. He Thanked all the Veterans and church members stood up to personally shake our hands. It is also amazing to me that nearly 40 years have passed since my Army days. I served from 1977 to 1981. Army Strong. Army Proud.

      3. Haha from then onwards he definitely made sure to hide his expression 😆😆 Veterans day is such an amazing day, I’ve read about it and also watched documentaries. 40 years and more, the country will always be grateful to all of you for devoting your time for other people!☺ What was your best memory while in military?? The traning is so tough yet looks very adventurous!!
One of my friend got selected in Navy….he didn’t go, his mom didn’t let him as the training looked very risky……I don’t know about him but his friends were pissed. Its once in a lifetime opportunity.

      4. Yes Basic Training is very tough. They break you down. Take you from being a child to an adult. Discipline. Develops confidence and leadership skills. Between ages 18 to 22 I was at my physical best. My best memories are of my first plane ride and living in Augsburg, Germany. The Army gave me the chance/opportunity to travel outside the USA and be immersed in another culture. No I did not learn to speak German but most Germans especially young people and store clerks speak English. I must say that the Army/Military is a challenge to the mind, body and soul. Definitely made me stronger in many ways.

That was a wonderful opportunity you got!
Along with the culture I hope you enjoyed the food as well!☺☺

My mom did that too for me, giving up her career……its pretty crazy alright, I don’t think I can do that….. But at the same time, whatever I could do today has only been for that decision of my mom!😊

      2. Yeah the sleepless nights, that’s the trademark of engineering lol. My parents always said that I had the whole day to myself then what’s the need to drag it all night……but the real studies happen only at night😊
My parents also glad that I came to the conclusion…..it has been their journey as well.
In school our lab assistant used to get really pissed and start a 1 hour lecture if we accidentally broke any apparatus.
So on our last day of school few kids sneaked into the lab and threw all the test tubes on the floor.
Sometimes later we could hear him shouting lol.😂😂
In our first year of college we had mechanical workshop, operating heavy machinery and cutting metals. I got highest marks in our dept. the boy who came second stopped talking to me after that lol😄
Has your daughter finished her last semester?
The last hour of the last exam of last semester is very special. We were all looking at eachother in exam hall. One last time friends!
But I’m glad no more semesters, it had been going on for too long!😎

      3. I love your story and i can totally relate to that.
One time early this year i woke up at around 4am (which i always do) to prepare them breakfast and get ready to drive the girls to school…i walk upstairs to wake up the girls and i saw my eldest daughter walking out of the bathroom..i said “oh, you woke up so early”…she said “no mom i haven’t slept yet”…lol

One evening we all went to sleep around 10. Then i woke up in the middle of the night hearing some banging sounds in the kitchen i thought someone barged in or a burglar maybe..so i turned on the monitor of the cctv’s which was in our masters bedroom and saw my eldest daughter working on some stuff (experiment) in the kitchen…lol..

      4. Since I go to sleep the latest its my duty to keep checking the cctvs once every while. I get really worked up by small noises and feel the need to check everything both in camera and in person lol😂😂

Congrats on all the achievements this year…. Becoming an engineer!.: That´s excellent and it is a hard career so I bet you had to study a lot.
I liked what you say about changes coming in and that maybe you didn´t realize the long path you were walking (towards your goal). Yes, it has happened to me too. You suddenly can´t believe it, right?: But you did it 😀 😉
Waking up too early is a hard thing to me, too. LOL. In fact: not my thing at all.

      1. Hi my friend…. My life is going well… like going with the flow… Not too major changes since we last spoke on Instagram… On that issue the account I had was deleted …. Word!… It was awful, I am not sure if I was hacked or just deleted…. Can´t say!. My life change decision: well.- as you it had to do with my career. When I chose to study two careers simultaneously (Laws and a short curse on History and Geography) those were tough years. But I made lots of connections, and was completely extrovert… LOL. Then I became more introvert (my usual way of being). Even if It was a very productive time, I lost many things as well.
Hugs my lovely .. enjoy your weekend 😀 xx

        How awful.
And Law, History and Geography, three of the subjects with the fattest books. Lol. I just don’t get Geography, it literally makes me cry. I had to study it till 10th grade and it was the biggest challenge. I miss History though 😊
Wishing you too a fantastic weekend. XOXO
Keep rocking as you always do❤

      3. Hi my friend… Yes, I followed up…. I even had to send Instagram a selfie with a piece of paper with my name and username. They told me that they couldn´t do much. And I suspect I was hacked and my username changed. So whoever hacked me, took the followers… As I sent many messages to IG and knew It was leading me nowhere, I decided to use the time to grow up an alternative (It was my cats´s). So I used a few apps and started growing followers. I updated it with galleries of 10 pics each … or so!. If you wanna follow me, I´ll follow you back… Or you can just check it out … I am using this account @michagrisin.
LOL as to those thick books.. Yes pretty much so… I wouldn´t do it again now… But the hardest one was Laws. It took me like a decade to finish … Many hugs, enjoy the weekend 🙂
