Hey my lovely people how have you all been??
Long time since my last post.
It hasn’t been easy. The house still feels empty without grandma, she was a pillar of support for all of us. But we believe she’s always with us, looking after us.
And with job interviews coming up soon its as stressful as ever!! I’m not exactly in my best mood.
But the silver lining amidst all this is,
after this period gets over I’m free for once and for all!!
After that, Catch me if you can!! :p
So guess how I’m spending my days and nights??
Solving 10th grade maths problems!!
As if getting through 10th grade and high school was not enough, or even getting into college and going through tsunami of exams……
And finally when its time to get a job, they judge you on the basis of your 10th grade maths abilities.
That’s the first round you have to clear. The biggest challenge here is they give a bulk of questions and only around 2 minutes to solve each question.
Only after that can you go to the technical rounds where they ask some actual engineering questions.
10 grade had actually gone relatively much more fun and easy for me.
I had got 10 GP in 10th board finals and also a national certificate for maths. So yeah I guess I had taken it a bit lightly……but its not easy.
Damnit its tough!! I’m kinda worried right now!!
Makes me remember something I had read some where,
‘Fateful were the nights when Einstein’s Newton’s, Euclid’s and Pythagoras’s parents decided to have 20 minutes of fun and hence, doomed were the first 20 years of every child’s life ever born.’
Anyways I did something really weird. Took part in a selfie competition :p :p
It was mainly held among the Engineering colleges all around the country.
I only came to know about it when my friends who had taken part called and urged me to take part as well. So the entries were supoosed to close at 12pm, I submitted my pic at 11:45 pm :p We also had an exam coming up next day.
Aaaaand let me announce that I didn’t win.
Its a good thing that the selfie was clicked quite a while ago and I didn’t give any extra effort or time on it…….otherwise I would have been quite pissed :p
Then we saw the girls who won the competition….. well, we’ve seen better! Some of my friends didn’t take it so sportingly, specially after wasting some valuable time to come come up with the perfectly selfie, on an exam night :p
But its true. A lot of other entries, including my friends’ were a lot better than the girls who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
They all belonged to the same college…….we had never even heard if that college before.
It was probably all predecided. And that’s what made everyone very angry.
Anyways, as I said it has been very boring. Like really really boring.
So yesterday I went to the mall to buy a few basic things.
After that I ordered 2 pizzas.
And there’s only one thing I wanna say to the chef who made them,
‘ I don’t know who you are but I’ll find you and I’ll hug you!!’
It was heavenly!! Never had a better pizza.
Then I went to an ice cream parlor and ordered ice cream on brownie.
All these made me very very happy!!!!!!
I don’t mind about calories as long as I fit into my formal trousers before the interviews. :p
I even visited the gym I’m supposed to join after all this gets over. Some of my friends have joined and it actually gave very good results.
Some of those ‘real’ before after transformations.
You even get to see famous people walking in and out of the the gym every minute :p
They got branches all over the world so it doesn’t exactly come cheap. But the best thing is I’m gonna get a pretty good discount by showing my student id!!!! Yayy!!!!
I feel so bad that all these years of being a student I didn’t even know I could get discounts by showing my id.
But still have 1 more year of college left….. So hope to use it to the max!! 😀 😀
Hmmm so that’s all. There’s a lot more I wanna say but its gonna take much more time to write them down.
Time is very scarce now.
I want to know how things run in IT industries. Its the present and the future of the world. (Hopefully not the apocalypse)
I very much want to be a part of it!!
Yeah this post wasn’t exactly very bubbly and energetic….. because I too am not reflecting much cheeriness.
But I love all of you. I truly do. You guys don’t know what you have given me. Everyone here has taught me something….. more importantly have helped me contemplate and look at the world in a new perspective.
I very much needed that.
Its celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna who’s one of the most popular and widely worshipped gods here.
Something funny had happened on the day of Janmasthami when I was 3-4 years old.
I was seeing everyone busy in the house preparing for the celebration. The food plate which was to be offered to Krishna was being arranged.
And I thought I too should contribute something. So I just went up to the idol of Krishna and left Chocolate bar in front of him 😉
And that became the family tradition. My dadi (paternal grandmother) makes my cousins do the same thing even now lol :p
So that’s it for today. See you guys soon!!
